Overview

Goal Live Scores is the most complete football app on the market. Bringing you the fastest live football scores and breaking news straight to your mobile. As the lead UX/UI designer for Goal Live Scores, I was responsible for the creative output for any new features or updates in the app.

Onboarding

When users open the Goal Live Scores app for the very first time, they are greeted with a simple, easy to use user interface, which allows them to follow their favourite football teams. The user can favourite up to 50 different teams and can set their default notifications in just a few simple steps. The simple interface gets the user set up and engaged within seconds!

Live Scores

The matches tab is the home of the app. You can use the calendar to see previous results, or see upcoming matches in the next few weeks. All of your favourite teams upcoming matches are sorted at the top of your app, and you can scroll to find games from all over the world, featuring more leagues and teams than any other app! Favourite a team or match to receive instant notifications or tap into the match centre to see things such as Line Ups, Key Events, Stats, Head to Head, Commentary & Top Players.

World Cup

To prepare our users for the World Cup 2018, we created a hub within the app where users could find all of the fixtures and results, live tables and competition brackets, news, video and stats from all of the top players.

Video On Demand

The video section got a whole new look when DAZN (sports streaming service) was integrated within our app within the Germany region to give users the ability to watch full matches, goal highlights and match highlights all within the app for free! I created a new look for the video cards so that the user could easily pick it out when displayed next to a news card. And created a video overlay for users to watch videos and select the next video they would like to watch without leaving the same screen.
